...just when I thought Hillary Clinton could no longer surprise me, did she really just say hey, he could always get shot? Which raises the question: In the unlikely event of a "dream ticket,'' who do we see for White House [food] taster?

I'm a Democrat, an Obama supporter who would gladly have pulled the lever for Clinton if she had won the nomination (which she did not). And until this afternoon, I even would have accepted her as Obama's veep. But after that idiotic statement about Bobby Kennedy, no more. I say that not because the statement is offensive (which it is), but because it is so monumentally tone deaf.

If she was trying to bolster her own case, she failed miserably. If she was trying to live up to every negative image that you or other Hilary-adversaries could gin up in your most hallucinatory fever dreams, well, mission accomplished. And I for one am tired of Dem presidential candidates who seem most skilled at rhetorically shooting themselves in the foot. Hopefully this gaffe will continue the rolling of superdelegates away from her camp, and end this parade of ignominy.

I think that the Bobby Kennedy assassination and Mr. Obama is an enormous stretch by Clintonphobes and a red herring.

Having said that, there are so many fanatical racists in America that I think it likely Mr. Obama's life will be on the line every day he is President. I hope he will wear protection wherever he goes.

Though I am not a Hillary fan and did hear of these comments months ago before she dropped out of the race, I must say that people are so one-sided. My interpretation of what I just heard her say is completely different. She was not referring to Obama at all. She was referring to herself; that as her husband was in the race in mid-june; and Bobby Kennedy was still running in june - so she too was justifying why SHE was still running n june. Mind you - I am NOT a hillary fan, but come one.

If Obama Doesn't take Clinton. No one will remember him 4 years from now. Not only because he can't win against the GOP on his own, but because of all his talk of Unity. For him not to take her, which would be in the best interest of the party, He's going to destroy the party if he does loose because she is the obvious choice for VP to get Obama in the white house, and his words of unity will no longer mean anything to me.

everything hillary says is not only taken out of context to mean the opposite of what she's trying to get across, but it is blown completely out of proportion...Obama on the other hand is entitled to scandal after scandal which questions his character completely and he wins the vote.
