This is a response to the series of videos by "FaithandReasons" in which she gave her testimony. I identify with a lot of what she said. I was moved by her videos to examine my own study habits: the books I read and the doctrines I entertain. I found I had slipped into what experience should have told me was deception.

I decided to get rid of some books in my personal library as well as purge my computer of certain files containing "New Thought" teaching.

  • That is what is so seductive about the teachings. The Satan knows what our weak points are. He knows I am curious: a seeker who will follow truth where ever it leads.

From personal experience, I know that God will only let me go so far before I am confronted by some one with a "prophetic" word which seems to be specifically for me. This word turns on a light and I can see the teaching for what it really is.

God is merciful. If only I were so patient and understanding when others go astray.

  • Do you not understand that all these have read the bible and taken biblical principles and taught them without referencing the bible. I studied many of them and I concluded that they took from the bible. Yes much of it was corrupted and new age was added to it.
