ninjutsu vs wrestling

November 2003, a ninjutsu / budo taijutsu student steps out from the mystical shadow world of stealth, espionage, and assassinations, and walks onto the wrestling mats at SIU Carbondale, for a submission wrestling tournament hosted by midwest leglocker Vince Fields.

With the ninja's buyu Shingo dead, and the ninja's shidoshi Tanaka saddened at the loss of his son Shingo--causing the 2000 year old tradition of the mystical ninja teachings being passed from father to son-father to son to be broken, our ninja chronicled here insisted that he could take Shingo's place.

He wanted to fight in the Kumite!

However, Tanaka Sensei was not impressed. "You are not a Japanese! You are not a Tanaka!" the old grandmaster scowled.

But the ninja here would not be deferred, and replied "You told me to use any tactic that works, never to commit yourself to one style, to keep an open mind!"

"Why?" the ninja's shidoshi asked incredulously, half crying from feeling honored, half stunned with bewilderment at the audacity of his round-eye trainee.

"To honor you, Shidoshi."

@SuperMadklown You obviously have never wrestled... You dont just teach something and all of the sudden you know it.. It takes years to be good at it.. And just because you practice something in wrestling dosent mean you will automatically good at it.It is harder to be a high level wrestler than it is either of the other... Jiujitsu teaches all sorts of positions,sweeps,submissions, takedowns... FAR FAR FAR more to elarn in BJJ then in wrestling. your fooling yourself kid.

This video is lame. He is a ninja master at a random tournament. Put him against a good wrestler like GSP caliber he would get slammed. He is also wearing a gi in what appears to be a no gi competition thats what helped him score the guillotine in the first round. Not impressed any gracie would tool this clown.
