RuneScape - RuneTek5 Game Engine Update - Review

The RuneTek 5 Game Engine (RT5) was added on the 2nd September 2009. This review video will evaluate some of the changes and also show a few glitches. Hope you enjoy.

If i had to rate this update I'd give it a 9/10. I really love some of the new changes, however some of them are a little 'laggy'. Might just be my computer

Improvements to Standard Detail (SD) : * Distance fogging and sky colour * Ground-/Path-blending and smoothing * Underwater visibility

Improvements to High Detail (HD) : * Sky boxes * Particle effects * Bloom lighting effects (HD only) * Water reflections (HD only)

Runescape have very good graphics for a java based game, and the water looks awesome.

@lma0er well any language you can make good or badd quality graphics in, it's just how you program the game that that time you put in shows. But when runescape developed over the years, it was one of the most worked on java games of all time.
