I just found out about her yesterday while watching the 2000 Momusu concert and seeing her as a guest performer. I'm surprised she didn't get a lot of attention, she's really good.

Why on earth would Tsunku not pay attention to Michiyo?! She has an amazing voice! It is a shame she is in the dark instead of being in the spotlight where she deserves :( .

She entered a contest to be the lead vocalist of Tsunku's band, SHARAM Q and won. But Tsunku diverted his attention to the five girl losers of the contest, and they formed to make a group called MORNING MUSUME, this left Michiyo with less attention than the losers although she won. She eventually left H!P but cont. to be an artist. She announce on her blog that she was three mos. pregnant and was going to marry the father.
