This is a fantastic version of Hard Fight, problem is although it's on my MP3 player, I can't remember which CD it comes from! If anyone knows I would be most grateful! :0)

This song was on The Levellers first home-made demo cassette, All The Free Commons of England, in 1988, before they recorded their first independent single, Carry Me, and way before they had a record deal. It was eventually put out on the b-side of a later single, I think. It's a wonderful song, and ironic that it sounds better produced than the songs on their first album, and that the song-writing quality is superior to much of what they have done since they got their own studio.
