hahaha i know what you meant when you said the size of the pike scared us and we wernt sure if we wanted to catch them or not. go barbless with the pike. they shake those flies when your holding them. they come out of your hand, the fish and your sleeves easier.

Thanks, very informative! I've always been reluctant to try fly fishing Wabamun, but seeing the action I think I'll give it a try. Did you have trouble casting with the wind(or did you cast with the wind)?
