@SuperDebbie54 We were there as well. I especially like KC 's part on the song Me and Mrs Jones. I hope to get some more Halo videos on this weekend.or at least soon
i see them every chance I get, one of Pittsburgh's best but least heralded entertaining groups. The guitarist, Al is great I wish that I could play like him! I had my pic taken with them after their show in Monongahela last week and they were so nice, and I wanted to speak to them all, but I was like a teenager and nervous, all I could blurt out was a "Thank you, you guys are all so awesome"!
Ill tell you they really do get the crowd into it saw them the other night and they did there christmas show and show and like always they where great thats just how they are.
Way to go Smoke, you guys sound better every time I hear you. Good cover of Sly. The name of that place was the Wexford Inn. A little tidbit; Al, (Kansas City) Lipscomb (that's not his real name, I don't think Johnny wants me to use real names) the guitar player & Johnny have been together 40 years. I oughta know, I was there when they met. Proud to be your cousin Smoke
Thats right that has the best oldies group out of pittsburgh.Cool so your a guitarist.Yea thats right it has based on how there fans get into it after 20 some years i still feel the same way when we do not see them.I rember seeing them when i was 19 years old at the emerald room and been seeing them ever sent.
"there one of the best oldies group out of pittsburgh"
i'm 1 of the best guitarist in pennsylvania =]
the show will die if you don't pass it on. it's all about the show, and the fans. that's 1 of the things this band is based on just by watching them. the knowledge of the crowd. how to work it.
20 years from now, i want to see the same enegry in our kids. this won't happen if we don't pass on our knowledge, and not let it turn into some corporate thrown.
