In Japan, we call a frog's baby OTAMAJAKUSI(オタマジャクシ) , that means ladle.

  • big name for a big tadpole :P lol seriously thats a big word OTAMAJAKUSI and do you have to say it louder because it is in uppercase?

  • so cute! om nom nom

  • Evolution is an amazing thing. No wonder frogs are so successful. They are exceptionally specialized, as herps go.

  • @RCaIabraro funny thing is, if they hatch out in a confined space and there isnt much food to go around like in a puddle , some actually adapt to being cannibals instead of vegetarians. they even have specialized mouths for being carnivores. not sure on the species might be a few might b all of them, i forgot, but it does happen.

  • There is something very peaceful about these happy animals.

  • why is this so fascinating?

  • sweet i have bullfrogs in my pond! and American toads.. havent seen any lately ):

  • OMNOMNOMNOM! >:U
