Finally someone that knows what they're talking about and she's a qualified doctor! She would make a brilliant TV presenter and appeal to both adults and kids. The more we learn about the world around us the we can change the way we live and she might just be the one to start the revolution! AND she's gorgeous and beautifully well spoken!

I agree with Mr Beasty. He knows what he's talking about. A gorgeous clever woman who rides bikes... chomp! I'm suprised no-one has mentioned Kate Humble in comparison - set McKie up against some hairy but balding fat bloke and watch the juxtaposition shine! Only joking. Is she on digital coz I only get terrestrial - what's she in at the moment?

I really like this!! Would find this much mroe interesting and engaging to learn from that most science programmes. Dr Alex Mckie seems friendly and alot easier to identify with then most scientists!!

I would like to see Dr Alex McKie on TV. Why haven't I seen her yet? She would go down well here in Australia where we have a massive water shortage. Her obvious knowledge in water conservation would be of enormous use here, and the only way to educate people is to televise. Dr Alex would be a reason why people will watch TV. She has presence, is clever, good looking, articulate and appears to have a sense of humour! A rare commodity!

Why haven't we seen this girl on TV before, she is the new Carol Voderman......the thinking mans woman. Why is it always guys doing the intersting documentories, if it's true we are entering a new phase of self improvement and knowledge, who better to teach us!!!
