To be fair, evolution can coexist with the premise that there is a god i.e. He creates everything initially and life takes a form of its own.

To your statement, how is evolution even relevant to the 99 percent? And what does being a freemason have to do with it? I know a few freemasons myself--their intent is to better their communities without acknowledgment. Like any organization, there are bad apples. Don't let the few sour your view of the whole.

Can I explain why? No, I'm an Econ major. I know only basic shit about biology. And yes, I agree that the school system is terrible, but they weren't LYING about evolution. Evolution is a fact, accepted by 99.8% of biologists and earth scientists. That doesn't make it true of course, but it is worth considering.

Do you know how species are named? The fact that they both have the word "canis" in there doesn't make them the same species.

As for the Bacterial flagellum "evolving" are you citing Nicholas Matzke's THEORY, in support of it.

Speculating on how the 42 proteins necessary make the flagellum MAY have aligned themselves to CREATE such a masterpiece of engineering; DOES NOT explain WHY they would have, or show conclusive EVIDENCE of the transitional precursors that the flagellum would of HAD to have IF it evolved.

I like thinking for myself, maybe you should try it!
