tell us what specifically to get in order to make it through. Some will be in the wrong place & die no matter what, but, some would survive if they, for example; 1. had some kind of freezer with an igloo built in it that they could crawl inside. The power would go out but they could survive the few hours of 150degree heat before the ice melted. 2. moved to a high ground & built an underground fort to shield heat, stocked w/ water & food. If you havent felt like Cheryl a couple of times then you aren't aware to the extent of what is really happening. I dont care how nonchalant you act, if you arent unnerved by all this, you are just lying to yourself. This is fucked up and you know it. Maybe there would be chaos if they outright said the suns gonna cook half the world, half are gonna get their brains scrambled by a brown-dwarf & there is going to be global flooding and earthquakes. In the past year I've been slowly learning about this. Let me state if things really get messed up I am going to find out who refused to let the people know. I know that I am not going to die yet. I have heard that the newer cars w/ computers may have them fried, i also have heard you can take your battery out of your car, and place it in a washing machine(don't turn it on!), it should stay safe from an EMP, and by taking the battery out of the cars cirrcut, it keeps the computer safer!, I don't know if this works, but...it's worth a try, otherwise, get an old pre '70's car or truck w/o the computer!
