since I have started to watch your series I have really started to like the A1s and have been looking to get one for myself but I have heard that they are weak engines, is this true about them?

@Henryfan3 - a bit of fettling with some lead shot in the top of the boiler, above the driving wheels, and they are fine. None of mine have actually needed that, mind.

How come you didn't put faces on those mainline diesels?

Let's just say that at the time I really had no idea how on earth I was going to put faces on them :(
