@wapitiman100 "still pissing around with pushrod", yeah, we are. Why? Because a pushrod engine is lighter and more compact for the same power output as OHC. If you know anything about pwerformance, power/weight is what matters. So pushrods are better designs.

@westpalmbeachplaya you dont need 9500hp in a track car i dont care about a stupid 400m sprint power to weight is what you want 600hp is any amount for a good street/track car and a top end of about 300kph a small alloy v8 or a inline 6

Hey Tom you should just put the Coates Spherical Valve heads on it. Then you can rev that thing to 15 grand without any fear of any floating valves or bent pushrods and probably triple your horsepower... Im just sayin.

@wapitiman100 you do realise that 500cui is about 8L mark right and this engine can easily handle that due to all the strength points they made when desiging this, now you toyota v8's your talking about are only half the size and you can't put that much power into them due to just being regular blocks, you do know what BILLET is right, if not, go look it up on wikipedia, as wrong as that site is it will make you understand that this motor will be BAD FUCKING ASS

@johnburton65 It's very possible, but this ass @Wapitiman100 doesn't know how to tell a lie. Gas Motorsports has a 2041HP 3.2L 2JZ in their 6 second Celica. A big displacement OHC Japanese V8 has the potential to make over 2500HP. He also fails to realize that there were OHC domestic V8's in development and production as far back as 1963.
