M16 vs SAR21... I had used both rifle before so this is my conclusion. fast reload m16 can do better as i can release the mag with my right index finger. Scope on SAR21 fog out during morning mist. SAR21 suppose to be light weight but too bulky. need to dig for charging handle when i want to load it. I still prefer M16. Sorry if you don't agree with me.

@shermanlee85856 but once it jams, you will need to field strip to get the bullet out.

@Crazednuts our Sirs just went through with us on the basics of the sar21..but the idiot demonstrated on a M16...

I'm a senior NCC cadet, and I've gone through live firing with the SAR-21. Now in NCC they are teaching the cadets how to operate the SAR-21, not the M16 anymore. Personally I like the SAR-21 very much, the only problem is that without the scope you can hardly hit anything. Also , it's actually not supposed to be so heavy , but for safety purposes, the left rear end of the gun is fitted with bulletproof materials.

Our freaking government spent tons of money on research and development of this rifle for what ? for a reason to reduce the amount of time you guys spent n mataining the m16 a1 S and to provide a more ergonomic and user friendly rifle , yet you guys just complain and whine on all the bad points of the rifle , do you all even appreciative the lack of jams and the easiness of field stripping it and oiling it over the m16?
