Red light. I'm going straight, no turn signals blinking. Driver approaches from behind, stops and begins some amusing waving gestures. I don't know what the driver expected. I'm not about to enter the intersection on a red light. The lane is too narrow for side-by-side use. Every time the driver waved impatiently, I laughed.

If the driver was important enough for me to get out of the way, the driver would have turned on blue and red flashing lights and perhaps even used a siren. Those drivers are the only ones who have a greater right of use to the roadway than I do.

Best viewed at 480p in full screen. There is a possibility that the "funny man" is a "funny woman" but it doesn't really matter much.

  • obviously he wants you to move over so he can make his right turn. no need for you to be in the middle of the lane on a bicycle..

  • @5jh5, the laws regarding right-of-way, and common sense as well, apply even more at intersections. There is every need for me to be in the middle of a sub-standard width lane on a bicycle. Consider to peruse Commute Orlando blog for valuable cycling safety tips.

  • that is funny.

i'm glad you stood your ground.

  • @arushandapushand, it's not so much "standing my ground" as it is the ordinary rules of the road. Traffic stops at red lights.

  • @freddotu i am glade you follow the rules you are told. :D

  • @LeftForDead86 , it's not always a matter of "following the rules" but when it comes to law enforcement, it's pretty important.

  • @skoockum, I wondered how long it would take for someone to suggest that one road user has more right to the road than another one. If you are stopped at a light, why do you not pull over and let the vehicle behind you continue? The rules for right of way are in place for a reason. There is not enough room for another vehicle to get around me, even if I "pulled over" and put myself at greater risk.

Your quality of language belies your limited intelligence. Find somewhere else to troll.

  • @doug5790, The solid white line does not mean right turn lane. That intersection is two lanes straight ahead, with right turn permitted, not right turn only.

I am not offended by dangerous, inconsiderate and unskilled drivers. The idiots behind the wheel are often defended by others who post and call me names. Thanks for another addition to that list.

  • @CoLaKi1992, in a public place, there is no expectation of privacy. It is likely that if you are in the USA, you are recorded in more ways than you might imagine. Walmart is one example, large shopping malls are another.

  • this little vehicle is pretty cool. but i would freak out on you if i saw you recording me.

  • @freddotu I mean: just ignore them. There are unskilled drivers everywhere. But based on my experiences the most relaxed drive can be done in the USA. Just don't care if you find an idiot, skip it. Your world is way too chilled to aruge about unskilled drivers.

  • @Muznyu, I relax by riding my bike and recording amusing motor vehicle operators. Europe is well covered in a similar manner by some equally unskilled drivers appearing here on YouTube.
