Actually, you are compressing the low end, however, the compressor is not as sensitive to the frequencies below the assigned HP Filter. The unit is triggered more easily by frequencies which are allowed to pass through the HP Filter.

Thanks for the overview, but I can't believe you don't play any audio through the unit to let people hear what it's doing! It's set up in the studio, it's on, it's got audio playing through it, you are an "expert" user...but you don't let us hear it. We want to hear it.
