This was an excellent example of knitting Nups. It was somewat difficult trying to learn from a book but it is easy to follow along with Nancy.

Wow, I've been pronouncing it "nuhps" not "noops". I love hearing how things are supposed to sound. I'm also quite impressed that they used to knit straight from samplers instead of a pattern. I've tried to do that several times and it can be difficult. I can't imagine doing it all the time, and for lace too!

OMG I almost cried when I found this video. I have Nancy's book and couldn't figure out the nupp (I can be dense despite her totally clear instruction) and now I can do a nupp! WOO HOO!

I love kniting and se how it has coem back inot vougue by storm!! I wish I had all of this when I was yopunger , but am enjoying all I have seen grow from the art of knitting and hand work
