My Ninja Gaiden run Part 3/3

This is a video of me playing through an old Famicom pirate cart of Ninja Gaiden that I got when I was a kid. The video was made several years ago through an old Hauppauge WinTV card via Composite In. The music didn't record correctly, so I just tossed in some other tracks. Go ninja, go ninja, go!

If anyone from the old JumpStation boards remembers when I recorded this then please tell me. My guess is summer 2002.

This is not a speed run. It's a no-hit run. I do take my time and pause just to get my bearings, because frankly, I didn't want a million takes -- especially if I got nervous and screwed up in the last stage. Yeah, I pick up a lot of shit I don't need. Don't ask me about Bloody Malth -- I've never gotten that trick to work on my US cart.

For those curious, the first time I played Ninja Gaiden was 1989. I had just played the arcade version in Aladdin's Castle, a Rochester Hill arcade, and when my grandma took me out later that day and we saw the game on sale at Meijer's, I begged her to get it. I was quite disappointed it was nothing at all like the arcade game, but it eventually became my favorite NES game.
