And why is Eve considered foolish for eating from the tree on knowledge? To not eat the fruit was to remain ignorant. So why would a god wish for his children to remain ignorant?

@Muckymuckmuck In the garden of Eden, Adam choose a world without God when he ate the fruit. He knew about the consequences, but he loved his foolish wife more than he loved God.

@Muckymuckmuck If your concern is hungry people, you should have a bigger beef with humanity that lets their own children die of hunger. God has given a lot of food to humanity, but its humanity that has chosen not to share with other countries. God has done His part, do yours.

@Muckymuckmuck your perspective is limited. Should we love someone only if they give us gifts? That is not love, but selfishness. And the fact that people are starving should really mean that those who are hungry should not be upset with God, but they should be upset with people like you and me. Christ tells us to feed those who are hungry, that is His practical and loving solution. If we were obedient to Him, billions of people wouldn't starve. But how much bread have you delivered to Africa?
