CREST Awards 2011-Pat Pecko

The city of Cupertino Recognizes Extra Steps Taken (CREST) Award, honors outstanding community volunteers (Individuals or organizations) making major contributions to the quality of life in Cupertino during the year 2011.

Pat has over 500 hours of volunteer service in the food pantry in just over two years at the West Valley Community Services. She has been instrumental in changing operations in the food pantry for the better and continually looks for new ways to improve the ability to serve the clients of WVCS and to do so in a dignified and respectful environment. In addition to the large quantity of time she has donated to the agency, Pat has also been very generous in helping supply the pantry with the necessary trash bags, cleaning supplies and other tools that help the volunteers complete their assigned tasks.
