@Rrppooq Well, Finnish isn't an Indo-European language, so has virtually no commonalities with Latin-based languages, whereas Swedish, although an Indo-European language, is a Germanic one, so not surprised.
-
@Bjokac Yes, you are right. You will make many friends with ESPERANTO... mostly because it will take like 2 or 3 years to learn it... (now seriously, I know there are large communities of ESPERANTO speakers out there)
I will not defend INTERLINGUA either, even though I speak fluently most of the romanic languages; however you can understand 99% even the first time you read it or listen to it. You don't get this from ESPERANTO... and that's a clear advantage.

Well, I speak Spanish and I understood everything! :) Very stinky about Dr. Zamenhoff... lol
Obviously, for an European speaking a romanic language, Interlingua is pretty understandable and easier to learn than Esperanto... nevertheless, the truth is that nowdays, just a bunch of people can speak Interlingua fluently.

I'm from Finland and understood nothing.

As a French speaker, I was able to understand maybe 50 or 60% of what he was saying. This language helps us appreciate how close the romance languages are to latin, by getting it rid of all the features that are not used anymore such as decletions.

Maravilloso, ¡Muchas gracias!
Are you speaking in Interlingua? I can't tell interlingua apart from Spanish... I'm THAT bad at learning languages.
Considering that I can't learn languages well. How long do you think it will take to learn Interlingua? I am able to dedicate at least 30 minutes a day, everyday to learning. At the moment I'm learning French, spending about 45 minutes a day everyday on it. If I do both French and Interlingua, will it stunt my French? Or would it be beneficial to do both?

@YouStoleMyTube Yes, that's interlingua. I think that Interlingua can help you in learning French, if you study it before French. Learning Interlingua won't take you too long, not more than one month if you study it everyday for 30 mins or even less.
Pay attention to the vocabulary, especially to words formation and derivation; that will help you a lot in getting the French vocabulary.

I want to learn Interlingua so I can accelerate my Spanish learning (and maybe soon French) , is it worth learning just for that? Also i'm an English native speaker so would it take longer to learn right?

@ChabbyAlonSo7 it will deinitely making Spanish a bit easier, and after that French vocabulary will be very easy (once you understand how to "convert" possible words from Interlingua to French.
Learning time can vary, for me it was two weeks, but indeed if you don't know other languages than English it can be longer. The nice thing is that there are very few rules, so you'll concentrate mostly on the lexicon (which will be useful later on).
