my blown 253ci holden torry on the dyno for a quick tune check, rev limiter only set to 5500rpm tho for this run just wait untill the burnout when i turn it to over 6500rpm, then she'll be howling!!

julzzzz YOU ARE A RETARD ! The 253 is a 4.2 not 4.3 and the lil 253 are a top motor with the abillitiy to make a bigger engine piss. Now go n suck yo mummas titties !

Love your work tuff torrie. Do you recommend doing up the 253 I am admittedly torn between the easy and common 304 into my old hx panno or to follow in your heroic footsteps?

@1toflylj Cheers thanks mate! it all depends on what you want to use the car for, 253's with a little bit of work can make great little street motors that can be capable of embarrassing much larger motors. if you are after a bit of a street/strip sort of setup you cant go past the injected 304, extremly good motor and can make plenty of power them, at the end of the day it all comes down to personal preference

nice, but my vn v6 will kill it. i rekon 253s are crap.... put it this way 253 is 4.3 liters and my vn v6 is 3.8 liters.... i'd kill him kos mine engine is newer and fuel injected not carby.... ive got a vn v6 with stall converter, shift kit, pod filter, monster tacho, cat back exhaust, 19 inch rims and also a power computer chip... I WOULD KILL IHM

@julzzzzzzzzzzz fat chance even a mildly tuned 253 would flog ya i'd say shit my old 250 2v would put you to shame the only thing the new are better at is how much juice they chewed.my old 250 2v in an old cortina is still capable of low 10 on the strip and if you're wondering what a 250 2v is ?well its the old 250 precrossflow head inline six.the 250 engine standard had a carby that bolted dirictly to the head.the manifold was cast into the head,the 250 2v had a bolt on inlet manifold
