CrossFit - Mikko Salo at the Rogue vs Again Faster Tahoe Throwdown

Mikko Salo is a man of few words. Translating from Finnish to English in his head, Mikko skips the excess and gets to the point quickly.

He fits a lot into what he says, and does. Mikko has two careers, professional firefighter and CrossFit trainer. He fits them together with the 3 on 1 off schedule common to CrossFitters. The rest day at his box is his workday at the firehouse.

It's not all work for Mikko; he enjoys competing for Team Rogue. Mikko talks about the environment at the Rogue vs. Again Faster Tahoe Throwdown. "It's pretty amazing," he says, "it's like a mini-Games but people are so much more relaxed and having fun, though we are training pretty hard."
