@LWPD327 This officer was fired and righfuly so.

@CTMotorcop Thank you for respectfully and gentlemanly replying to this comment. If the officers were indeed violating the posted speed limit and caused an accident in violation of the State in which they were sworn to Protect and Serve, they should be fired, the families of those kids should get due, just and fair compensation

@Ninga0809 I hope that you grow up one day and don't make idiotic comments on nothing that you know about

@LWPD327 No the teens had a flashing red light because they were in a left turn lane, the officer had a flashing yellow light.
Please don't get me wrong I do not condone the actions of either of these officers

If the kids had a flashing red light then the officer also had a flashing red light. However it appears that it was a flashing yellow light to me, albeit is black and white footage. However at 94 mph = 137.866667 feet per second those kids probably never saw him approaching the intersection, with no emergency lights activated in a 40 mph zone at night. I cannot judge this former officers actions formally, but i can say that in my opinion, it looks like pure negligence. Very sad indeed. Poor kids

the cop didn't even have sirens on and he was going 100 miles/hour......i hope they get executed

@Shaded07 Where the hell did you get your information from, because you are so wrong that it is funny. The cop was on a straight road, no corners. What is so conventional about the kids had a flashing red light and are required to yeild by law
-
@usaisadump eh yes I do.
-
@Dorisequador No, you don't.
@usaisadump Right the cop was traveling along and you saw him try and take out that car because he hates eveyone right. No I guess at that speed he saw it was a black driver and did it out of rasicsm. If you run or shoot or fight a cop I say you gave up your rights right there and either you get taken down, fucked up or killed. I act accordingly and don't fuck around. If you are doing wrong bad things can happen. But you're right we should destroy that cops life because he didn't someone coming.

The cop has already been cited as being at fault. He was doing 94 in a 40MPH zone for no reason other than reckless horseplay. He was racing with the other officer. Officer Jason Anderson has been fired and is awaiting trial for 2 counts of manslaughter in the death of the 2 teens. Neither officer was responding to a police call of any type, they were returning from a previous call when the crash occured. His speed (94MPH) was confirmed by the "black box" computer on his police cruiser.
