  • Great video. You should have mentioned that kava kava has a side effect where it can cause liver damage. If you notice dark urine you should stop taking it and consult a doctor. It also isn't suppose to be used on a daily basis since it's so powerful.

  • BTW, Doctors know very little about these items, they are in the business of selling the more profitable narcotic alternatives that DO NOT work better.

  • @MrShtsweak Pot is good if you are going to do just a hit or two before doing something creative or something like yoga and tai chi which builds up your natural energy. But since pot can make people hypersensitive, it can seem to make you anxious in society. If you do it, just a hit or two and then keep to yourself to do some exercise and creative projects. Be well.

  • @Kyjo34 LOL, have you read the list of side effects, which include DEATH, on all of the psychotropic drugs? A little allergy is nothing compared to that list.

  • St johns wort is fantastic!! I have been using it and it's as powerful as chemical anti depressants but without the side effects. I was on citalopram and it was a nightmare, caused me insomnia and a feeling of sickness. Going the way of nature was the way for me,. These plants are on this earth to heal us. Trust me.

  • some of these herbs can cause allergies and some can make your vision go blurry, some can lower your blood pressure, some can make you dizzy. Some work pretty well, it takes a few bad experiences to figure out which ones work and which ones to stay away from. Once I have a bad experience I toss them in the trash and look for a different herb. I have even had my first migraine from taking a herb for hormones. These herbs are sometimes pretty powerful.

  • That is very rare. The kava root needs to be root and not leaf which is toxic. Kava is terrific as is magensium glycinate - see my post.

  • I've smoked pot for years now and am finding out that it actually makes me anxious now that I am almost 30. I think I'll try this St. Johns now.
