The Series is developed to document any developments and discoveries in my personal free flowing style of expression and to serve as an artistic outlet for my self.

The Goal is to grow as a person through explorative type of training and not to develop a static art but a flowing art that always breaks doors open for new things to be discovered whatever the action may be. Whether its a body movement, tool manipulation , strength or conditioning my goal is to constantly grow and discover new PERSONAL FREEDOMS.

In Nature a person can shut off social limitation and main stream thought in regards to personal development and discover an inner ability to create personal results without the need to be excepted or the fear of failure. In Nature a person can let loose and slowly break away his conditioned thought patterns similar to chiseling away a work of art from a rough rock.

Creating PERSONAL FREEDOMS is different then creating a martial art even if the actions seem similar. In the end my approach and goal is something personal and the video series is only there to document my exploration rather then showcase my skills or preach some ideology.

  • This one must have slipped through the cracks. Do not believe I saw this. Damn Bo skills from hell. Very fast and the strikes are looking powerful. Wow great leaps. Awesome editing and music is always expected from the Forest Monk. Another inspiring and enlightening journey.

  • @DanBowenTV thanks man, little by little i want to improve but with limited time its hard to get the results i desire.but whatever i still love to train so i have no doubts i will find a way.i think i hurt my wrist a bit with those strikes.im going to try to go out again on monday hopefully have a good run and focus on other things. yeah the jumps are getting beetter and i will look to improve on that more. think i might do some cutting in the next one......been a while. peace

  • Well done! I love the forest and the music. Your technique is getting better. I wish there was a bo staff shinai so we could see you spar using it.

  • @nagualshadow u can make a custom shinai staff for fun - its not to hard! we had one back in the day! its fun.

as far as the video goes its just training! my training sessions are in these videos as i have hardly the time to train when i am away from the forest!

    thanks glad u enjoyed it

  • @666Baalberith666 apreciate it man! to be honest this is my training session not a showreel! but i guess it does look like random clips because of the way i edit.

its saddens me and makes me upset knowing that my only training sessions of this nature are when i film these videos. i really need to get out more.....
