@saritaef propofol is not addictive in nature at all, its not even a controled substance in the usa. It just is not (for good reason) used for sleep.

propofol is not a painkiller, just a hypnotic drug with no antinociceptive qualities. So it just makes you fall asleep and does nothing for painrelief.

I believe Michael was in a lot of pain from Lupus, his scalp, and breathing problems with his nose and maybe other health problems. It probably hurt to exercise much lest perform. He needed drugs to numb the pain. The pain caused him to illegally put too much drugs in his system. His body was too sick to perform but he needed the money.

Dr. Murray is guilty in my opinion. Of course Michael Jackson had a drug addiction to these medications he was being provided with, like propofol and lorazepam. They are highly addictive drugs. However, as a certified doctor, Dr. Murray should not have supplied him with such powerful drugs and combined them together like that. I don't care how much MJ paid him to give him the medication, Murray as a professional should not have gave it to him. So now he will face the consequences.
