gilmour came to replace syd barret(lsd blowed his mind-read the lyrics of shine on you crazy diamond)he never played drums.i don"t know why gilmours guitar talent is ignored-i think noone could play slow guitar with such a dynamic-xcuse my bad english

lol yea. Sid Barret did do drugs and his mind went insane because he knew that his wife cheated on him while she was is france. Sid was an AWESOME guitarist, just as good as David Gilmour. Sid had done drugs for years since he caught depression. watch the movie the Wall by Pink Floyd. its a mixture of two lives into one man named Pink and both lives are members of Pink Floyd. Roger Waters AND Sid Barret
