People tried it in the 60's. However, the nasty fact is, those get to the leadership positions who want it most, and who will think themselves before the others (sure, there are some exceptions). Hence, politics is dirty business. Leaders of nations and big organizations always tend to be the biggest crooks.

Clean wallstreet, clean government, the crooks will be back. New ones or the old ones. They will try to play with the system to their advantage.

Don't thumb me down before reading this. I know socialism is a bad word in America, because of the Cold War brainwashing and the communist dictators. Alex hates it too.

However, many Americans don't have a clue what socialism is. Countries everywhere have used socialist means for decades to reduce income gaps and provide services everyone needs.

Americans need to quit fighting against socialism. It is beneficial to the poor people in developping countries. And to common people everywhere.

Imagine what would happen if the USA, the biggest seller of arms, would have to cut is arms sells? It would be a devastating blow to American jobs.
