  • Thanks for posting this. I love the Chills. Used to have a compilation tape (1991) Pagan in a Pagan Land. Any leads? Also looking for a track the opening line goes: "an old friend of mine cut himself shaving and bled to death on the bathroom floor, before he died he had time to write a message on the mirror in the bathroom on the back of the door. All, all I'm saying is..." I can remember that much but not the name of the band. Thanks for your posts!

  • @mryanwalsh great lyrics... i don't know the song, unfortunately.

  • Thank nzoz - The Chills are my all time favourite kiwi band. I've never seen this clip.

  • @kieran9093 I was told that this is rare, but was pretty sure it was already on youtube... when I found out that it wasn't the case, I immediately uploaded it!

  • @mryanwalsh That song - All I'm Saying Is - is by a Gisborne band called The Big Fix. written and sung by chap called Steve Simpson. Was released as a single - have a copy somewheres, and also on a compilation album put out by Pagan records. They gigged a lot with a band called Wasp Factory. Good bastards all of 'em too...

  • Cool video for a cool tune. The Chills were obviously steeped in 60s garage psychedelia but they really did make something unique out of it. Watching this vid, it's almost like it was beamed in from a parallel universe. Can't believe it actually exists. I'm overwhelmed with nostalgia for a past that never was.

  • never seen this before. Awesome!!!

  • @kieran9093 i was wondering if some was going to upload this; a nice chills moment to be sure. I have it on video somewhere from when i recorded it off the merry chris knox thing here in nz on the old prime(LIKE BACK WHEN CUE WAS STILL ON EVERY NIGHT, OFTEN BAD RECPTION, BUT...) WOULD HAVE UPLOADED THIS AGES AGO HAD I THE GEAR, PLUS A COUPLE OF HIGHLIGHTS FROM THAT SHOW OF WHICH THIS MAY HAVE BEEN THE PICK. NICE TO SEE AGAIN,THANKS!.....NOW ANYONE OUT THERE HAVE THIS IS THE WAY CLIP OR COME HO
