Any gains made by the Kenyan police force have been marred by the release of the latest Transparency International Bribery Index that once again listed the department as the most corrupt institution in the region. The study which has for the first time covered the East African region, has also brought to the limelight the rot in Kenyas Ministry of Defence listing it high in the ranks of the corrupt.

  • White man teaching black man about corruption, that is funny!!!!!!!! talking about a thief that steals an ant Hill, lets talk about the thief that steals other peoples countries, with trickery, fake religion and war

  • good thinking savai, until kbaki,Raila and their wolfs, stop steeling from citizen, corruption is going nowhere.have been there, popo have no choice if u can't make it, what will you do.

  • -they extort the bribe by issuing threats. At night, they use dogs and false charges of drunk and disorderly and behaving in a manner likely to cause a breach of peace. I have been a victim and being on a Friday night, you have no option but to part with sh100. The crime was moving from the a matatu terminus to a hotel.

  • I am sure the US Government could beat that record!

  • The THAI police love taking bribes from tourists, GREEDY ASSHOLES.

Police are the same all over the world, give them a uniform and they think they own the place.

  • Nobody could have put it any better, Savai333! One wonders, that if Obama earns $400K a year, less than Kibaki, Raila and Ringera etc, something has to be seriously wrong with the whole picture of things in Kenya....Yes indeed, can we have some more!!!

  • Kenya is predominantly a Jua Kali economy. Only a few people benefit from its very tiny portion of planned economy. And yet the Jua Kali are supposed to participate in protecting and enhancing the planned economy free of charge? The police, a cross section of Kenyans, are Jua Kali, Mechanics are Jua Kali, the Army is Jua Kali, and even Teachers and Professors are Jua Kali. Only Mps know the fruits of a planned economy. And yet they are insatiable: Please sir may I have some more!!!

  • Cheers Larryboy1995.

    I corrected the error.

  • The hilarious part is that the money they get is just paper run off their printing presses. It only has value because we have decided it does, and are all willing slaves.

  • thanks ntv i take notice of the high quality video unlike the eastandard.
