Just because there is a 2-3 mph top speed difference to R1 doesnt mean it is a better bike.
And all road-racing (motogp etc...) bikes are tuned,they have nothing to do with stock bikes.

The R1 kicked the gixxer k9's azz all over the world this year 2009 morons gixxer is nothing, actually the r1 kicked all the 1000cc bikes azzes including the cbr1000rr, zx10r go do some research idiots. Yamaha dominated Motogp winning 1rst and 2nd, the r1 captured world superbike championship, British Superbike Championship, and Dutch Superbike championship, and FIM world endurance champion the list goes on and on, 2009 the R1 is King!

dual exhaust = gay. it adds 13lbs. of sprung weight to the bike also. be glad when they switch back to a single exhaust system
