This has to be my all-time favorite song of Nils. Love him. Saw him play it in '74 in concert. A highlight of my life.

The first & best version of this song i ever heard was in the late 70's by Catherine Howe, & it's not on youtube. I do have a 7" version of it buried somewhere & can only hope that when i do finally hear it again then it's as good as i remember!
This is a crackin' version musically, but isn't melancholic, ie, some 'auld arse like me lookin back over their life wishing they were young again. Ugh.

Great version of a great Carole King song. This was Nils at his best. I loved 1975, I was 18 that year.
