The Seahorse Song

I wrote this song while slowly processing the emotions of loss after an unsuccessful attempt at having another baby.
I am finally ready to share this extremely personal song after two years of holding it close to my heart.

The Seahorse Song

The taste is salty and the smell is fresh,

The birth is a mess.

I really love this song, I love your voice, and it makes me cry when I hear it. HG is no way to have a pregnancy. No one should ever be faced with starvation or death to carry a life they love. Even almost six months hence, my jeans are still loose because of all the muscle I lost... they hang strangely on my body and I wonder if it'll ever look healthy again.
