  • I moved out of the Pittsburgh at 16 and then married a military man so I lived everywhere but my heart is in Pittsburgh RIP Mr Cope... I will miss you from GA..

  • rip myron cope

  • Rest in Peace Myron another championship and another chance for another ring.......

  • The thing that made Cope great, was that he kept it all fun. He never took the game or himself too seriously. I still remember the Terrible Towell's first year. Cope had us tie the Towells to our car antennae to scrimmage against Pendot in preparation for a playoff game against the Broncos. The year before he recorded his hit single, "Deck the Broncos, They're Just Yoncos." There will never be another Cope.

  • imaging U2 sings this song in tribute to cope?

  • There will only ever be

    the one Myron Cope.

    A class act...

  • As a Pittsburgh sports fan from Shreve, Ohio, I did not get to hear Myron's voice on the radio, just from NFL Films clips. Still, he will forever be an icon to Pittsburgh, to the Steelers, to broadcasters, and also to journalists. He was one of the last broadcasters to have fun calling a game, rather than being boring and plain. The only memories we will have of him are the Terrible Towels and his DVD Myron's Memorable Moments. We will miss you Myron!

  • Very Cool!!!! Thanks for the GREAT video!!!! Myron you'll be missed!!!

  • The best of the Myron Tribute videos.

    Thanks.

    We'll miss you Myron.

  • Great video lmao at this. On that show of his was he as passionate about the other teams from Pittsburgh as he was about the Steelers? Oh yeah love the incorporation of Pride In The Name Of Love.
