  • The year this came out (1966?), I was 22 and a senior at the University of Miami. The day it began, I walked across the street from the U of M and saw it at Loew's Riviera. It was a beautiful afternoon, but when I left the theater, I was cold down to my bones. The only other films to affect me that way were

Brazil and the original version of The Vanishing.--arnie113

  • thank you for sharing man. I felt the same way when i saw titanic. lol. seriously!

  • soooooo SEXY...him walking slowly down the beach (meets Nora) with the short white jacket and tight white pants, mmmmmm, yummy!!

On top of his GORGEOUSNESS, this movie was EXCELLENT. Any fan of "Twilight Zone" will LOVE this movie...

    GREAT camera work, too.

  • did you know rock was extremele gay as in homosexual man?

  • Man, I want to see this movie sooooooo bad!

  • buy it, it's very "twilight zone" like. He looks very handsome too!

  • The most depressing film ever made. Hudson's best film. Music by Jerry Goldsmith. From a novel by David Ely. Directed by John Frankenheimer.

It doesn't get much better than this.

  • To arnie 113.....I agree with you. However, the most disturbing and heartbreaking short film I've ever seen is "Sebastian's Voodoo" by Joaquin Baldwin. You must see it on U-Tube. I have never seen anything this deep and disturbingly tender and beautiful. It cuts right to your heart and soul. It is one of the greatest short stories ever shown on film. You must see it. "Sebastian's Voodoo" by Joaquin Baldwin. 'Only a few minutes...incredible.

  • Amazing P.O.V. and bodycam camera work. I didn't know, they used this filmic device so early!
