  • thats great if ur living 2 decades ago

  • @flabound111 the best time period in cars IMO :D,

my Jag is 4.2 decades old and still eats 3.8 EFI/Electronic ignition Commodores.

  • Thanks great video, Iearned about electricity the hard way as a child I tried to pee on a running lawnmower to shut it off, that is one of those lessons you only need to learn once!

  • @Hallaran lol!, kinda like peeing on a electric fence!. you don't do that twice!

  • how do i know what resistor to use with my coil. I am using an MG coil that gets super hot every time i use it.

  • @idusclothing jsut ask your auto parts store for a '12v coil ballast resistor'. I am pretty sure there is only one rating.

its just so the coil sees 6V not 12, and dosnt boil/explode.

  • Thats not a true test. Your not even close to re creating the engine cylinder conditions.

  • Get a diesel. It doesn't need any of that garbage.

  • hi there great videos btw. i have a question. i just removed the coil from my 99 accent and tested it with a multimeter and both the primary resistance and secondary resistance for both coil packs(1 and 4, 3 and 2) were fine. i then went back to check it again the next day as it had been sitting on the kitchen table and now i'm getting absolutely no reading for the secondary resistance on either coil pack! the primary resistance is still within spec, but a few decimal places higher now. thanks!

  • @Aussie50 LIL! Yeah not to change the subject but I am looking around now for a used magneto/coil in the wrecking yards. Don't want to pay the price for a new one in the store. Great video...
