@ivancart15 There are millions of Jews and Christians (and many Sabians and Zorastrians) that are present in Middle east and Persia now, from 1000+ years, right since the time when most pure Islamic Rule took over those places. They were not butchered for not accepting Islam, muslims are not like the Catholic Christians that they would carry out Crusades and Inquisitions against those of other faiths. Qur'an says "Let there be no compulsion in religion", that is clear enough.
@MatrixOfDynamism being free doesn't mean the absence of external influences. being free means no oppression, no tyranny, being able to make decisions yourself, not having consequences for acts or behaviors that aren't harmful to others. people should be free to choose their religion, they shouldn't be killed for not choosing yours.
*facepalm. You spend several minutes going around in circles of (definitely flawed) and absurd logic, and then conclude you're right. Which by the way your (still flawed) logic works the same way on your god.
The main difference between science and religion is easily summarised as follows:
Good science looks at and considers all facts, and draws conclusions.
Religion takes a position and searches for specific instances that support its claims.
What a silly argument. The part from 1:15 to 3:15 is particularly silly. We know about the natural processes that form rocks. He really means to ask how universe came to exist. Nobody knows how that happened. After 7 painful minutes, the speaker concludes that the Universe has a cause that can't have been bound by physical limits and laws as we understand them. Then he makes an unwarranted leap to, "therefore my god did it!" No amount of apologetic rambling could properly justify that leap.
@bilboinc Muhammad was not a mere religious leader. He had more dimentions, he was a father a son, a brother a friend. A slave of God. You will think well so what? Well for me if I want to know how a father is to be I shall get the guidance from him, if I want to know how the son is to be I shall get guidance from him. If you care why than just ask me. We all profess to be free but we are not. WE are free from one dogma but follow the dogma of the Self.
@bilboinc well I told you already. I have made the decision myself not forced, to follow this holy book. You born in the western society even though consider yourself to be free and I mean no offence here. But yet will take defination of free from the society that you are born into. It is never possible to become free from the external influences. Those that do so are called outcasts. Just give that a thought. Yet again I await you taking mistakes in the information that I have presented.
@MatrixOfDynamism religious leaders and politicians will give you rules and regulations, question authority, take the brave step of thinking for your self.
@bilboinc I don't know if you have read all the comments but you have not answered all my points. Just briefly describe what you think is "Civilized". What is the objective definition of this and who describes it and by what authority?

@bilboinc The whole point of postponing the punishment is so that another human being that has already been concieved may be born first.
