SHALOM! Did you know that Yeshua (JESUS) was crucified on the Passover and He became not only the sacrificial lamb given for the sins of many but also His blood covers everyone's beings ("Doorposts" = Hearts and Souls) as a sign so that the great judgement (angel of death) will "Pass-over" us in these end-times! When everyone's former selves die in Him, their new everlasting beings live with him as He, YESHUA IS LIFE itself. Yeshua HaMashiach is the Passover Lamb (see 1 Corinthians 5:7), AMEN.

If Christianity began as an outgrowth of Judaism, then why did Christians persecute Jews for 2000 years?

@aTrueHybrid You are right, I do not understand the thinking of some of these people...did you get the web page I sent to you?
-
@aTrueHybrid I have often wondered the same thing. When I ask people about it, they say that when Jesus was in the wilderness and fasted, he didn't cut his hair either. I cannot seem to find the verse that talks about it, but I know it is there. They think just because He didn't cut His hair in the wilderness, He must have long hair. I think that's absurd. I did find a web page that talked about it, but I cannot seem to post it here...

If you have seen matza it is unleavened bread ,striped and it is pierced. The Matza corresponds to the flesh of the Lamb. It is striped it is pierced and it is broken. He was pierced for our transgressions, and he was broken. By his stripes we are healed. It has no leaven, leaven is a picture of sin
It is a picture of Jesus who had no sin but took our sin. After the middle matzoh is broken it is wrapped in a linen and hidden from view. just like he is buried. The children search through the house to find it and when they do they receive a gift that gift is salvation

@breshsheet yes, Ben, in fact I am having matzo with my lunch! I love it...and every time I eat it I think of the Lord Jesus at His last Seder, singing the Hallel and praising His Father: This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it! Imagine, singing this joyfully, knowing what lay ahead. Praise Him! Praise Yeshu'ah forever!

The day is coming when Yeshua will return and make what will truly be His triumphal entry. Messiah will reign and be glorified before all the nations (Matthew 25:31-32). We will forever glorify Him as the Lamb of Glory, even as we wave palm branches to signify His eternal majesty
