@THE2DANES Binary files are usually applications and the dynamic link libraries associated with them. If your trying to edit a binary file, you'll need a hexadecimal (hex) editor to do it. WARNING: Editing any file with a hex editor can render it and any program(s) it may use it non-functional. Be sure to make a copy of the file first as a backup.

Could you tell me how to clear the search browser?

@Tim8tei You can remove an item from the Search list by highlighting that item (using the mouse, or Up/Down keys) and then pressing the DELETE key.
