MJ is the pioneer 4 both of them then some. Every1 has their own style of dancing, but no matter who, there's some MJ in the mix. MJ learn a lot from his pioneers b4 him such as tap, swing, pop lock, split, spin, jitterbug even ballroom. 2 many 2 mention, all those dances wasn't his own but he perfected them as his own, throwing in his own signature moves. Each generation have their own style of dance, these Artist have skills 4 the future 2 follow. I luv them all, But M.J is the King of Dance..
