With Robot Wars gaining international acclaim, the decision was made to branch out and produce a series of Robot Wars specifically for the Dutch-speaking audience. A total of 30 robots were flown in to compete here, this was filmed at the same time as UK Series 5.
The heats worked the same way as the semifinals of UK Series 5 and 6, each robot that lost in the first round would fight in the losers' melee, with the winner reinstated.
Rob Kampuhes hosted, with Bridget Maasland serving as pit reporter, and Eric Croton providing commentary.
Robots featured in this heat:
Lethal Swan, Arena Killer, Philipper, Lizzard, Bamm Bamm, Rat
On a side note, I'd really appreciate it if someone could back up these videos to their computer, I would like to delete them from my hard drive once they are uploaded. Thanks.
@Sixthsense1990 Oh ok. That must have been weird for the british being around people that speak dutch and same for the dutch people. I'd be worried to talk to anyone.

@Gavin17259 It was filmed same time as Extreme 1/Series 5, so the BB team were there (same filming location)

7:10 Anyone else notice that guy from Bigger Brother in the backround? What's he doing on the Dutch wars?

@Headbanger142
Well, they were kinda lucky for getting the wild card into the Grand Final. I didn't like this robot at all. But especially in the first Dutch Series, the most important thing seems to have a reliable machine which doesn't break down easy. Lizzard is an excellent example of that

Just seeing this version of Lizzard for the first time makes me shocked that this thing actually came Runner Up in the tournament.
