Megan Brain has been busy making cut-out characters for a Summer Olympics commercial for United Airlines.

It involves lots of paper, lots of exacto knives and a lot of patience. It is similar to the Super Bowl ad that came out a year or so ago where the same paper characters were used. Take a look at what Megan and her team came up with by visiting her blog

Watch the commercial on YouTube here

And finally I decided to try out a new program called CamStudio to take you through the news. What do you think of video news for Animateclay.com? Is my voice too nasally sounding to be a news caster?

  • It is very good, I too do claymation (account - MAclay0)

  • Thanks for the info...look forward to more of these. I'll have to check out that program :)

  • Oops, sorry Pram I accidentally hit the remove link below your other message instead of the reply one. You mentioned using the program that you suggested. It works great, plus I upload it with the DivX suggestion you gave also. I think it's fairly clear!

  • The program is one of tozens of others but maybe your's is better.

  • Nice New Item! Keep it up.

And Megan Brain's work looks really amazing.

  • Kool. I actually downloaded it before but haven't installed it to try it. It looks much better then an old program I used to use to record video of desktop stuff for tutorials.

I like this idea of using it for news :)

  • I like it this way

  • Sounds like a good idea. You get a more in depth look at things. It would also probably get you more visitors from You Tube that have searched stop motion stuff.

  • I like the idea of these types of videos, seems a more personal way to get the news across. Also in my opinion it is better to hear something said than having to read it.

I adore Megan Brain's work, looking through her blog I love how great the designs are and in such a unique style.
