One of the first songs I've learned on bass. I've only had a bass for a few weeks, so I know it's not as tight as it could be, and I messed up a few times.
Learned by ear, but it's not a hard song. The bass is a Schecter Stiletto Custom 5, tuned standard BEADG, recorded direct into Pro Tools. Video captured via iMovie and built in iSight camera.

BEADG sounds just a playable. i tued my four string to bead, and although the fretbuzz is undesirable, its playable for this song.

They don't use drop D since they use 7 string guitars and 5 string basses. I think they use drop A, though.

Thats the standard but a lot of music chevelle plays is in drop-D... @least thats what ive noticed when it comes to there heavier music... Feel free to correct me :)

im gonna be gettin dis bass soon. and I've always played a 4 string, would u say it will be hard for me start playing this 5 string bass??? like is dis one easy? alot of spacing w/ the frets and strings???
