Actually I wanna know how much did it take you to get to this point? I mean how much time how much training?

@uppercut999 oh gotcha. lol.

@uppercut999 P.S. its always good to see another left handed chef out there. avoid global knives as japanese steel always has a 70/30 split on the blade edge which is biased towards the right handers. it sounds stupid but it's true!

too much extraneous action. not bad, but is that seriously a serated knife?? you'd get killed in a professional kitchen using a serated knife for anything other than cutting bread. lol. but yeah, cutting with your wrist moving the whole arc = slow. making the knife point arc and pivoting with your wrist = much faster.

@UCLASeraph I agree. this is a slower technique. I was just fooling around in my mom's kitchen, hence the serrated blade. :)

re: my last post... just watched the vid again. you seem to be slicing left handed at times and right handed other moments. is that camera trickery or are you freakishly ambidextrous?
alanpriceproject 1 year ago
@alanpriceproject Ah! I'd like to say that i'm freakishly ambidextrous but unfortunately, its just how my old Nokia 3250 mixed the video. :)
