I know this was 20 years ago, but for God's sake, can a man interview women and not make them out to be little girls? How about asking something compelling, something about music, something about writing? I'm surprised he didn't ask them what hair products they use. Ugh. Letterman lacks confidence in speaking with women as people - it's one baby step too far, but I am grateful to his programme for inviting Indigo Girls on for inter/national exposure.
btw, the name Indigo Girls is just perfect.
