The ORBIS Flying Eye Hospital is literally a hospital with wings that brings together dedicated eye care professionals and aviators to give the gift of sight to developing countries around the world.

Onboard the refurbished DC-10 jet aircraft, local doctors, nurses and technicians work alongside ORBIS's international medical team to exchange knowledge and improve skills. The Flying Eye Hospital is one of the most unique tools in the fight against preventable blindness.

  • This aeroplane eye hospital is a very creative prototype od mechine that can help many children and people in 3rd world countries to regain eye vision.

I appreciate the "working together" spirit between ORBIS & FEDEX for cteartive this jet.

This jet does not only treat eye patients but also teach doctors in 3rd world country how to perform surgery. The Health policy that promote by ORBIS to 3rd countries can be deployed in other area of medicine.

    Well done ORBIS!! :)
