I love this band but hell if there isn't a bunch of whack jobs posting comments on their songs.

Funny - this is one of the first records I bought being a kid of like 12 yo back in the early seventies. Those were the Jazzrock days. Billy Cobham, Herby Hancock/Hang up your hang ups, Miles Davis/Bitches Brew... My parents went nuts ;-)

I'm a fool and I'm lazy because I don't want to waste what time I have left on this planet, searching for good new music, when there is plenty of music from the eras I like that I still need to hear, not to mention, books I still need to read....yeah,ok...

I don't care if you feel guilty but your statement makes you look like a fool. Oh well... to each their own. I'm pretty passionate about music and I just won't be sated by crap like "all music today sucks." That's a sign of laziness, in my eyes.

I have taste in music, that's why I don't bother with new music...almost every act(no matter what genre)is under the hiphop spell...everything is about "beats" or collaborating with some rapper...everyone once in a while,I pull out my Public Enemy cd and listen to it,but other than that,I don't give a crap,I got bored with rap in the late 80s...I NEED musicianship, not beats.

Even non-mainstream music today isn't THAT interesting....you're not gonna make me feel guilty.

Mainstream music makes up about 0.5% of all music made in any given year. Your rant would have had validity in 1992 but if you're not finding music you like today than you must not have much taste in music or you must not care enough to find new music.
