The first part of the video (my signature slide) is overlaid by the final bars of "İstiklâl Marşı", which I played on my keyboard.

The main part of the song is one of Tom Lehrer's studio solo songs, "The Elements". It is part of Tom's second published album, "More of Tom Lehrer". But I obtained the actual music from the box set, "The Remains of Tom Lehrer", which was released in 2000. Enjoy.

And the last part is the main theme of "The Phantom of the Opera", by Andrew Lloyd Webber. Simply the 'cherry on top', and my personal song.

Here's the description Tom Lehrer himself made about the song: ""The Elements" is simply a setting of the names of 102 chemical elements to the tune of the Major General's song from "The Pirates Of Penzance" by Gilbert and Sullivan; the words of its last line were true as of the date of the recording, but presumably will not remain so for long. [Here I must acknowlege another debt to Danny Kaye. In the 1941 Broadway show "Lady In The Dark" he sang a song called "Tschaikowsky", with words by Ira Gershwin and music by Kurt Weill, in which he rattled off at lightning speed the names of 50 Russian composers. I used to sing it at parties, and, on the basis of my success with it, eventually decided to make up my own list song.]"

Sorry I gave so much information about the music earlier. I don't want to get screwed by stupid WMG again. They are a bunch of arse-holes. And to make sure I am not screwed, have them read the following credits:

Recorded at RCA VICTOR STUDIOS, New York, NY (7/8/59)
Produced by TOM LEHRER
From the album "More Of Tom Lehrer", Lehrer #TL-102-S (1959)

"The Remains of Tom Lehrer" Compilation ℗ 2000 Warner Bros. Records Inc. & Rhino Entertainment Company.
